Although Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti are the onlycast members ofStar Trek: Starfleet Academywho have been officially announced, the series finale ofStar Trek: Discoveryset up Lt. Tilly to play a role in the 32nd-century spin-off. At this point, it would feel odd if Wiseman didn’t appear inStarfleet Academyas Tilly in some capacity.

Produced by mystery author Anthony Horowitz,Nine Bodies In A Mexican Morgueis a twisty mystery series involving the survivors of a plane crash. Ajala will also appear in the upcoming British television series,The Jetty, which stars Jenna Coleman as Detective Ember Manning.

Callum Keith Rennie does not appear to have any major roles lined up in the near future,which hopefully means he could return as Commander Rayner inStar Trek: Starfleet Academy.Rayner would make a great addition to theAcademy mentor program Tilly proposed. Aside from acting, Rennie enjoys abstract expressionism and creates artwork for his Motor Lodge Studios.Star Trek: Discoveryintroduced an incredible cast of characters to theStar Trekuniverse, and hopefully some of them will return in a futureTrekproject.
