Gunn and Peter Safran are busy getting the new DC Universe up and running, with their studio working on multiple Chapter 1 movies and TV shows for Warner Bros. Discovery. The first movie that will be coming out ofthe DC Universe isSuperman, starring David Corenswet as the next live-action Man of Tomorrow.
Gunn’sSupermanmovie still has roughly another month left of principal photography, and more glimpses are emerging from the upcoming reboot. After not being spotted throughout most of filming, new set photos (viaDCVerso1) have revealeda proper look at Brosnahan as Lois Lane in Gunn’s franchise. The images feature the actor wearing Lois' iconic purple as she emerges from some kind of ship. A first look at Wendell Pierce as Perry White has also made its way online (viaHome of DCU) as he is coming out of the ship too.

What Ship Are Lois Lane & Perry White Are Coming Out Of?

While time will tell what is exactly going on in theseSupermanphotos, there may already be a major clue as to whose ship they are coming out of in this particular scene. During the recent filming process,Mister Terrific was spotted in theSupermanset photos. They revealeda first look at Edi Gathegi’s comic-accurate costume as Michael Holt. It looked as though action sequences were taking place on theSupermanset, so the ship could potentially belong to Mister Terrific.
OtherSupermanphotos revealed a mysterious set piece that many are speculating to be alluding to Mister Terrific’s T-Sphere ship from the comics. If the photos are meant to be from the climax of the film,it is possible that Mister Terrific’s ship will come into play towards the end ofSuperman. Perhaps the reason why Perry and Lois are coming out of it together is because, at some point, Mister Terrific may have had to rescue them from whatever threat they are currently facing.
Given that Mister Terrific is one of the manyheroes confirmed for theSupermanmovie, it would be exciting to see if this ship ends up being his, asit shows the DC Universe already leaning into Michael’s comic lore. Other superheroes, like Nathan Fillion’s Green Lantern or Isabela Merced’s Hawkgirl, could also be seen on location in the coming days. Until that happens, however, the world will have to wait and see what else will be revealed inSupermanas production nears its end.
