It was later ported to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S and was released on these consoles in January 2023.

Monster Hunter Rise Has A Rich World Full Of Unique Creatures
With Solo Or Co-Op Multiplayer Modes
Monster Hunter Risewas praised upon its launchfor its rich maps, which are full of unique creature designs. The story centers around the central hub of Kamura Village, and the threat of impending devastation of “The Rampage”, a catastrophic event in which countless monsters attack the village simultaneously, which Kamura has fallen to in the past. To prepare for The Rampage, players are tasked with helping to prepare the village to better it as a stronghold and trying to prevent further destruction by venturing out to other areas through a series of quests to hunt the monsters directly.
These quests can be carried out both in single-player and multiplayer, with the option toteam up as a four-person squad to take on the monsters.Monster Hunter Rise’s gameplay was heavily praised, namely thenew Wirebugs mechanic, which can be used to zip through the air and bind monsters, assisting players with navigatingMonster Hunter Rise’s more vertically inclined maps.

Monster Hunter Rise is the sixth main entry in Capcom’s Monster Hunting series that began on the PlayStation 2. Set in the land surrounding Kamura Village, players will create their hunter as they embark on quests to hunt monsters and craft gear from their unique components. Hunters will battle to defend their home from a new threat known as “The Rampage” as they attempt to understand why monsters keep attempting to ambush and destroy their village.
