Each season ofthe Pokemon Go Battle Leaguebrings with it a variety of cups with special rules to give dedicated trainers a new challenge to tackle alongside the standardGreat,Ultra, andMaster League, as well as their remixes.
The Jungle Cup: Little Edition might be similar tothe Jungle Cupbut with a max CP of 500 and a few restrictions.
What makes this cup different is that onlyNormal,Grass,Electric,Poison,Ground,Flying,Bug, andDark-type Pokemon are allowed to enter. Plus, during this 21st season, Gligar or Galarian Stunfisk are off-limits.
Best team for Pokemon Go Jungle Cup: Little Edition
One of the best teams you’re able to use in the Jungle Cup: Little Edition isShadow Steelix, Shadow Skorupi, and Miltankas they’re three of the strongest options and should offer decent coverage across the board.
As always in the Go Battle League, it’s almost impossible to say what the absolute ‘best team’ looks like as it will change depending on the Pokemon you’re up against – and you’ll never know what they are until you’re in a battle.
Having said that, there are plenty of great contenders for the Jungle Cup: Little Edition that will put up a good fight in almost any situation.
Best Jungle Cup: Little Edition Pokemon
Galarian Zigzagoon (XL)
Because the Jungle Cup: Little Edition has Pokemon with such low CP, being bulky is a must if you want to survive your opponent’s hits. Plus, you must focus on your Fast Move, as it’s pretty possible you won’t reach your Charged Moves often during these fights.

Best Great League team in Pokemon Go season 23
Galarian Zigzagoon has great Stamina and decent Defense, so it will last enough in battle. Between its two Fast Moves, go with Tackle, as Take Down is a lousy attack overall. Just in case, pair it with Swift to bait shields and Dig to deal incredible damage.
Cottonee is going to be a popular choice for the Jungle Cup: Little Edition. Its unique dualGrass/Fairy-typing gives it an advantage over lots of popular types including Water and Fighting, and many trainers will have one leftover from theElement Cup.
With Fast Moves likely playing a big part in the Jungle Cup: Little Edition, having the powerful Charm is a huge advantage. You won’t get many chances to use Charged Moves in this CP-restricted cup but go with Grass Knot or Seed Bomb anyway.
The pure Ice-type Swinub may have a terrible Defense, however, it can still stand strong and deal some damage in battle thanks to its Stamina and Attack stats.
Pair this tiny creature with Powder Snow. It might be expensive, but it is a Fast Charge move. Then, set Icy Wind and Body Slam as the Charged Moves. The first one will decrease the target’s Attack by 20%, while the second one will deal decent damage fast.
Onix (Shadow)
Onix is not a great attacker, but using its Shadow variation can change things, as it will sacrifice 20% of its massive Defense for 20% more Attack.
Use the Fast Move Rock Throw to deal some heavy damage (that benefits from STAB). That should be enough in this Battle League tier. However, if it’s not, use Breaking Swipe to decrease the target’s Attack by 20% to then finish it off with the nuke Stone Edge.
Diggersby is a new addition to the ranking, and even though it’s not a great attacker, it is an extremely bulky Pokemon with a unique type combination.
This season features very strong Poison types, so Diggersby is a great choice to break them. Plus, having access to Fire Punch helps this enormous rabbit fight Grass and Ice types, which are two of its weaknesses.
As if it were not enough, Scorching Sands is a wonderful Ground-type move that deals very high damage for low energy.
Wigglytuff
Being able to use Wigglytuff in the Jungle Cup: Little Edition will be a game-changer for some trainers. This popular Kanto-region Pokemon is known for being incredibly tanky, and that should be a real advantage when the max CP is so low.
Charm is the go-to Fast Move for Wigglytuff, as it deals some impressive STAB damage. You most likely won’t get to use Charged Moves here, but having Icy Wind is good for extra coverage while Swift is a solid secondary option.
Inkay is so adorable, no one would think of this Pokemon as an actual fighter. However, its Dark/Psychic type combination leaves it with only one weakness to fellow Psychic creatures, which are not being featured in the top spots this time around.
Out of its three Fast Moves, go with the Fast Charge attack Psywave, as it also benefits from STAB. As for the Charged Moves, Inkay only has two, so you have no other choices.
Cubone is a great lead for any team, as it has pretty good stats, with predominant Defense and Stamina.
This Kanto original can deal incredible damage with Mud Slap, which also happens to be a pretty quick Fast Move. You can teach it the Charged Move Bone Club to bait shields and Dig to deal incredibly high damage – though it requires more energy to work.
Miltank used to be useless in the Battle League until it got access to Rollout, a pretty good Fast Move that provides fast energy generation to access Charged Moves earlier.
For the Charged Moves use Body Slam, as it benefits from STAB and is the cheapest choice. Pair it with Ice Beam – or Thunderbolt – to expand Miltank’s coverage depending on your opponent.
Fletchling
The tiny Fletchling is not as bulky as the other options. However, it can work as either a Lead or a Switch, thanks to its good Stamina and Attack stats.
Even though both Fast Moves benefit from STAB, you should choose Quick Attack. It is a Fast Charge move, while Peck is a very low-quality Flying-type attack. For the Charged Move, use Swift to bait enemy shields and then go with Fly to deal massive damage for little energy.
Skorupi (Shadow)
Skorupi is looking like one of the top contenders in this season’s round of the Jungle Cup: Little Edition, with key wins over the likes of Cottonee, Abomasnow, and Wigglytuff. Unlike other Pokemon that will be relying on their Fast Moves to win, Skorupi is all about the Charged Moves.
Go with Poison Sting as Skorupi’s Fast Move. It may be weak, but it’s a fast energy-generating move that will hopefully give you the ability to unleash an Aqua Tail or Cross Poison to turn the tide of a battle.
Steelix (Shadow)
Steelix, like every other Steel-type Pokemon, has an incredible amount of resistances, which is always wonderful to have. It also has a really good Defense, so there’s no problem in using its Shadow variation to sacrifice 20% of it in order to gain 20% more of the Attack stat.
As a lead, Steelix can push the enemies’ shields by spamming Dragon Tail, a cheap and fast move with heavy damage. Both Charged Moves are very cheap and fast.
