I Love The Bear But It Must End After 4 Seasons
The Bear is one of the most electric and emotionally brilliant shows I’ve ever seen, which is exactly why it needs a definitive expiration date.
Josh Hartnett’s Role As Frank In The Bear Season 3 Is Perfect
Richie wants to hate Frank but can’t for the sake of his daughter
Hartnett delivers his natural charm as Frank, who despite being somewhat of a situational antagonist to Richie, seems like an all-around good guy.
As is tradition inThe Bear, Josh Hartnett’s character Frank was mentioned in season 2 before he made his first onscreen appearance in season 3, episode 4 titled “Violet”. Hartnett plays Frank, the fiancé of Richie’s ex-wife and mother of his child Tiffany, played by Gillian Jacobs.Richie drops off his daughter Eva at Frank’s very nice houseafter having a conversation with her about what to call him as her imminent step-father. Frank and Richie have a brief exchange about their potential awkwardness.

Hartnett delivers his natural charm as Frank, who despite being somewhat of a situational antagonist to Richie, seems like an all-around good guy. Frank is an excellent foil to Richie and challenges him to stay calm, polite, and respectful for the sake of his relationship with his daughter, digging deep to rise above the deep pain he feels about losing Tiff for good. Harnett was perfectly cast as the guy that Richie certainly wants to hate but can’t.Frank tells Richie he should have given him a heads up before proposing to Tiff, and Richie handles the matter with grace.
Don’t Binge The Bear Season 3 (Seriously, I’m Warning You)
The Bear season 3 is one of the most anticipated TV events of the year, but there’s a very good reason you shouldn’t watch it all at once.
Josh Hartnett’s Surprise Cameo Continues An Amazing Trend For The Bear
The Bear has the best guest appearances of any current series
Hartnett & Cena’s characters have an excellent chance of returning inThe Bearseason 4 because they’re both now a part of the extended family tree of Berzattos, Faks, and Jerimovich’s.
The growing list of surprise cameos inThe Bearcontinues to amaze me. While Hartnett was a great albeit brief addition, John Cena’s guest appearance was truly shocking in the best possible way. What’s even better is that their characters have an excellent chance of returning inThe Bearseason 4because both Hartnett and Cena are a part of the extended family tree of Berzattos, Faks, and Jerimovich’s. With series creator Christopher Storer continuing his experimental approach with his Emmy winning series, who knows who could appear inThe Bearseason 4.
