Fantastic Four trailer reveals sneaky first look at one of Marvel’s most powerful characters
Tickets forThe Fantastic Four: First Stepsare already on sale, and a new teaser trailer contains a quick look at one of the most powerful characters in the Marvel universe.
Well… sort of. We know that Sue Storm is pregnant in the new film, and Vanessa Kirby has confirmed that her character gives birth to her and Reed’s baby.

The question is, will they makeFranklin Richardsas powerful as he is in the comics? Kirby has teased that it’s “not just adults who have superpowers”, so it sounds like Franklin could help against Galactus and perhaps even the Silver Surfer.
In a new trailer, we get a quick glimpse of Franklin with his parents, and fans are delighted to see him.

Franklin can be seen at the 0:16 mark in the new teaser. Yes, he’s still a baby, so don’t expect him to be a huge asset in the Fantastic Four’s fight against Galactus.
However, considering Kirby’s tease and Franklin’s abilities in the comics, he could play a major role in the future of the MCU.

It isn’t an exaggeration to say Franklin is comparable to Dr Manhattan. He is basically a god; he can manipulate reality, matter, and energy at will, create pocket universes, teleport, communicate telepathically, and he’s capable of astral projection, telekinesis, and clairvoyancy. Oh, and he can fly.
“Franklin Richards just an adorable baby and already burdened with being the most powerful character in the MCU,” one userpostedon social media.

“Can’t wait for him to single-handedly solo Galactus as a baba lmao,” a fourth joked.
Even if he can help, his parents still need to protect him. “It feels unusual, in a Marvel movie, that there’s a birth in the middle of it. We’re having to risk things for this baby. The questions in this movie feel like fundamental human ones,” Kirby told Empire.
