You can elect to take on this foe or run past him to make a break for the elevator. Either way, you will ascend upwards and finally reach your final Site of Grace before fighting Rellana.

Rellana is an exceptionally hard boss inElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Not only is she an agile and quick fighter, with both fast releasing and incredibly high damage, but Rellana also casts several spells throughout the encounter.
Magic users willfind this fight extremely difficult, asRellana has a very high resistance to all magic damage. Olmstead, Faith or Arcane-based Incantations will work much more to your benefit in this boss fight. Scarlet Rot is always an excellent choice to ensure a steady stream of damage over time.
In terms of weaknesses or vulnerabilities,Rellana is weak to bothFrost and Lightning damage. Weapons, Incantations, or projectiles that deal either Frost or Lightning damage and can help significantly reduce Rellana’s health bar.
It will be exceedingly difficult to strike Rellana with projectiles or spells since this boss is incredibly agile and has a ton of mobility. Oftentimes, you might find her out of reach of most ranged attacks. When all else fails, a summon can help you learn this fight better by distracting Rellana, but this will only increase the boss’s overall health further.

Rellana, Twin Moon Knightis a two-phase boss fight in a relatively small arena. However, this fight is far from linear, and Rellana will often skip over certain attacks to fire off her most powerful strikes seemingly at random intervals. She is incredibly fast and able to clear distances quickly, making it integral to learn her moveset and phases up close and personal.
Phase One
Rellana opens the fight in three potential ways:Greatblade Phalanx, aGlintstone Arc, or astraightforward dash attack. Her basic combination after this typically involves a single swipe from one sword, a quick follow-up, and then one final thrust with both swords that deals incredible damage.
One important thing to note is thatall of Rellana’s attacks are forward-facing, so if you’re able to dodge forward or behind the boss, you will put yourself in a much more advantageous position.
Rellana has three magical abilities during this first phase. When you are at a range, Rellana will elect to either shoot off a barrage of Glintstone Daggers or a Glintstone Arc, followed by a quick charge and combo attack.
Once you have taken out a third of Rellana’s health bar, she will summon aCarian Greatswordand use an overhead, vertical strikeon her most recent attacker. This was followed only a second later by an arena-wide horizontal strike. If you miss a dodge on either, you’re able to expect to receive hefty damage.
Phase Two
Phase two is where the fight gets even harder.She will start by lighting her second sword aflame and perform one of two potential attacks. The first is a firestorm that erupts from where she is standing. When you see her charging this attack, it is best to run backward and avoid standing near any flames. The second attack is a flurry of fire strikes that all explode after a short delay. Again, it is best to roll forward to get a better opportunity to strike Rellana back. Either way, both attacks will deal fire damage.
The final major mechanic is her dual moon attack.At the final third of her health bar, Rellana rises into the air and conjures two moons, which slam into the ground for an arena-wide AoE attack. If caught, the player is flung into the air and slams down for massive damage.
It is integral to dodge both moon shockwaves, as getting caught in them is almost a guaranteed death sentence. If you manage to survive this, then Rellana will once again resort to her usual combo attacks. All you need to do is continue to press further and use her vulnerabilities against her to claim the first boss’s Remembrance inElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
