While Ackles’Supernaturalcharacter Dean is ultimately a loyal hero, Soldier Boy only presents the facade of a superhero, and is in actuality a bigoted, selfish individual who is the epitome of toxic masculinity. The juxtaposition between Dean and Soldier Boy is part of what helps Ackles steal the show inThe Boysseason 3 and inGen V.
