Amy went into more detail about why she likes watching a show likeBelow Deckas opposed to other reality shows that focus on people’s everyday lives. That’s why I’m into.“Amy’s not a fan of reality shows like theReal Housewiveswhere there doesn’t seem to be a purpose, according to her. “Everyone sits around and there’s no job; they just go to dinner,” she added. “That gets me very stressed.”

Amy Poehler Thinks She’d Be Voted Off Survivor “Pretty Fast”
While Amy believes she would be well-suited to a show likeBelow Deck, there’s a different reality show she would likely fail at:Survivor. “I think I’d get voted off pretty fast,” she admitted. Amy explained that if she were onSurvivor, she would be talking to people “in front of their back” instead of “behind their back.” Behavior like that would not go over well withSurvivorplayers and would make her a target at Tribal Council. However,if Amy did get voted off ofSurvivor, she would “accept the tribe’s word.”
It’s unlikely that Amy will ever compete onSurvivor, but appearing onBelow Deckcould be a strong possibility–just not as the captain.Below Deckis no stranger to featuring celebritieson the various yachts. Pastcharter guests have includedAmerican Idol’s Justin Guarini,The Bachelor’s Erica Rose, musician Roy Orbison Jr., baseball player Johnny Damon, journalist Jemele Hill, andReal Housewivesstars Heather Gay, Cynthia Bailey and Jill Zarin. While there’s no way Amy will be joiningBelow Deckas a cast member,Bravo should consider having her as a charter guest. Considering she’s already a big fan of the franchise, it’s unlikely she would turn down the opportunity. The network could also consider filming a comedic bit with her where a season ofBelow Deckkicks off with Amy at the helm of the yacht, then Captain Kerry or Sandy walks in, surprised to see her. Amy has a long-standing relationship with NBCUniversal, which producesBelow Deck, so an appearance should happen at some point in the future.
